JASDEC maintains a backup center to continue business operations without disruption when main computer center shuts down due to a wide area disaster. The backup center was established with Lamfalussy standards in mind which were designed as international benchmarks by BIS, ensures the availability of the settlement infrastructure with backup capabilities to secure facilities, and recovers the system as soon as possible. It is JASDEC’s goal to have the system capability recovered and resumed within 90 minutes.
JASDEC connects the main computer center to the backup center by using high-speed dedicated line (100Mbps). As necessary, data of the main computer center will be sent out in real time.
