JASDEC accepts securities prescribed in the CSD Law Consent of the issuing company is also a prerequisite. Currently, eligible securities are domestic securities, including stocks, convertible bonds beneficiary certificates of exchange traded funds, certificates of real estate investment trust and preferred investment bonds of financial institutions established by cooperative associations, which are listed on stock exchanges. As of the end of July 2007, all of the publicly traded companies in Japan, 3,958 companies, have consented to have JASDEC handle their stocks. ![]() |
