JASDEC's back-up center in Osaka came into operation on September 1, 2000.
The construction of this center was one of JASDEC's long-term projects to reduce settlement risk arising from damage to its main
computer facilities as a result of a natural disaster in Tokyo . The back-up center stores data for securities depository and book-entry
transfer operations as well as for the beneficial ownership notification services in real-time mode (mirror system).
Switchover to the back-up center can be completed in one hour and a half.
