Shares in custody at JASDEC recorded over 200 billion shares |
As of September 18, 2002, the number of shares held in custody totaled 200.3 billion shares. This figure represents approximately 56% of outstanding shares of publicly -owned companies.
JASDEC will try to reduce the cost of operations and to enhance services to encourage a further increase of the custody ratio.
