Participants in the System

Participants in the Book-entry Transfer System for Investment Trusts consist of all issuers that handle contractual-type investment trusts and trustees in Japan.

Furthermore, the participants in the System as JASDEC participants (referring to those that have opened an account with JASDEC) or AMIs are diverse, consisting of not only securities companies but also banks, insurance companies, shinkin banks, credit cooperatives, agricultural cooperatives, investment trust management companies engaging in direct marketing ,etc.

Compared to other Book-entry Transfer Systems operated by JASDEC, it has an extremely wide range of participants.

The System has achieved secure, reliable and speedy electronic management of beneficial rights of investment trusts by directly or indirectly connecting many such issuers,trustees,AMIs, and JASDEC to the System.
